57I was hoping the Self Help industry had died a death and people had grown up enough to recognise snake oil when they see it. Even Anthony Robbins has moved on!
The “18 month rule” suggests that people who buy their first Self Help book then buy another one 18 months later as they recognise their lives aren’t turning out quite the way the first book promised it would if they just did that “thing”.
I think the reason is very simple: if you need help to move forward today, you’re always going to need help to move forward because you’re thinking about it all wrong.
There is only one piece of advice you need, and that is contained in my short Self Help book here. I’m sure the irony isn’t lost on you 🙂
